The evolution of the Scaler Outback frame reaches new heights with the new Hi-Rock edition of FTX. As Scaler and Crawler fans find both performance and aesthetics to be desired we have tried to bring both together with Hi-Rock.
Featuring a new split transmission the engine is now mounted directly over the front axle to the steering servo to provide extra weight forward for improved traction. The steering angle has been increased by 45 ° for greater trail riding. It is equipped with an adjustable slip clutch to protect the transmission and drive shafts in the event of a blockage while the internal axle and the metal gears of the transmission offer a long life.
The split drivetrain pattern provides a much lower center section that allows for aftermarket interiors to be fitted for greater scale realism.
The molded side frame plates have aluminum plates on the outside while the inside plates offer protection from the elements as well as receiver mounting and the Hobbywing speed controller.
The molded receiver box features additional plug-in ports for LED lights and aftermarket winches.
The classic pickup-inspired bodyshell is complete with molded accessories such as front grille and LED Snorkel buckets, roll bar wiper mirrors and spotlights (for optional LEDs).
The front and rear bumpers come with mounted LED lights and tow hooks to complete the look of the model.
